From Minimal to Bold

When I rebuilt the site in Jekyll, I knew the visual identity needed to evolve too. The staff lines were elegant, but they weren’t enough. I wanted a mark that felt modern, that could scale from a favicon to a billboard, and that was actually mine.

Enter the geometric β€œA” – constructed from clean lines with musical notation woven through it. Bold. Contemporary. Unmistakably a music-related brand, but not obvious about it. It’s the kind of logo that works equally well in monochrome or color, at any size.

The system expanded to include:

  • Bandcamp artwork – full-color variants for streaming platforms
  • Minimal versions – when you need just the mark, without any text
  • Square avatars – perfectly cropped for social media profiles
  • Wallpapers and favicons – extending the brand across all touchpoints

From 2019 through 2023, this was the visual language of Adam Adams Music. Bold, geometric, unapologetically contemporary.
