David Kudell made a brilliant video of setting up a keyboard shortcut for KONTAKT’s “Purge Samples” function using KeyboardMaestro on macOS. You can watch it here, if you’re interested:

I was actually using a similar solution for a while, and because of this video, I’ve decided to share it with people. Mind you, it is not perfect solution, but it works for me. If it doesn’t work for you, let me know so I can improve my script, so it covers more situations.

My script uses SHIFT+W for the instrument “purge samples” option from that little menu on the instrument itself. It also uses CTRL+SHIFT+W for “purge all samples” option from the KONTAKT menu.
